Lo Wan-Ki 盧 韻淇 received her BA in Architectural Studies at the University of Hong Kong. She attended the MFA program at the School of Drama, Yale University in 2009-10 and received The Donald and Zorka Oenslager Scholarship in Stage Design in 2010. Her set design for《My Luxurious 50 sq.ft Life》was well acclaimed and earned her numerous awards including The Best Set Design of The 24th Hong Kong Drama Awards and Best Scenography in The 7th Hong Kong Theatre Libre, and is the finalist in World Stage Design 2017.Wiki is also a trained vocalist with performance in theatre works 《Steps》(2017)《Moving/Void》(2012) and in film 《Pseudo Secular》(2016)

網路拾遺

我在想如何把時代的精神保留並承傳下去，在閱讀。沒有很多技術，而且總是對鑽進技術感到莫名的不情願。

我會把網上瀏覽到，線下瀏覽到的相關視覺圖像攝取下來，製成 icon，再拼貼。覺得在網上流漣的時間比現實中多。

把虛擬帶到街上，發現人們可能要透過社交平台的資訊才會發現現實時空中出現的不一樣。

想不到，但總會偶爾有心情低落的時候，又或者覺得有創造好的生活比創作重要的時候。

Internet Gleanings

I was thinking about how to preserve and pass on the spirit of the times. I don’t know a lot of techniques and I’m always reluctant to dive into it.

I would capture the visuals that I found both online and offline, then I will turn them into icons, and make collage. I feel like I spend more time on the internet than I do in real life.

Bringing virtual reality to the street, I discover that people can only find out what’s different in reality through information on social media.

I cannot think of any, but there are always times when I feel down, or when I think it’s more important to create a good life than artwork.

Becoming more caution about what to make / not make ; tell / to tell the cannot tell

More concern and aware of the distance between my thoughts to what’s happening in HK, and

At which spot I am making / telling things .

I am pessimistic about being an artist in Hong Kong, but I am more confirm to keep making things when I can.

I make a performance with no beginning and end.

I learn about myself through the mistakes I made

I learn about my characters that come from my father, about my fear

And the reasons to continue to live.

People can acquire freedom and peace

We learn better about emotions
